1st Stop Accountancy and Tax Services Bristol Ltd was started out in 2008 by Lorraine Stevens FMAAT when she became a sole trader in the field of accountancy, with the main objective of providing innovative, timely cost effective services to owner managed businesses. The firm has developed to offer a wide range of services to the surrounding areas, but does have clients a lot further a field, some based in London.

 

Location

Based in North Bristol, nr Parkway station, Abbey wood retail park and the Ministry of Defence, we provide a wide range of business support services to a range of organisations and individuals throughout the South West. Our convenient location gives us excellent transport links around the County of Bristol and in the surrounding regions of Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Gwent. We have and continue to invest in the latest IT equipment and software that enable us to communicate effectively with our Clients wherever they are, in the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

 

Aims and Methods

Our Clients come to us and, more importantly, stay with us because they know our reputation as competent reliable bookkeepers and accountants. This has been achieved from experiences working within industry as a bookkeeper up to trial balance, including working on bank reconciliations and the purchase/sales ledger, through to working at several accountancy practices producing financial statements for Companies House and HMRC for Ltd Companies with 500k + turnover. Also working with Contractor Ltd Companies, including calculating the corporation tax. Other experience along the way has been producing accounts and returns for self employed and partnership companies of various business activities.

 

Our experience and knowledge is our greatest asset. We invest heavily in innovation, information technology and training to ensure that we are able to deliver the high quality services demanded by today’s clients, whether their needs are simple or complex.
